The Naked Now by Richard Rohr – articles by Charlie Holme

Our Parishioner Charlie Holme has been reading “The Naked Now” by theologian Richard Rohr and has written a series of articles based on his reactions to this stimulating book.

The second of these  “Mystery and Paradox” picks up with some of the themes raised by my sermon on Christmas Day (Luke and the Shepherds) in particular the closing lines of the Gospel from that day:

“And all who heard it wondered at what the shepherds told them. But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart.”  (Luke 2:18-19)
